Indian Chef at Lusail
As an Indian Chef at our restaurant located in Lusail, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of traditional Indian dishes. Your culinary skills and expertise in regional Indian cuisine will be essential in delivering high-quality meals that satisfy our customers' taste buds.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus featuring a wide range of flavorful Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook ingredients to perfection, ensuring the highest level of quality and taste
- Monitor food quantities and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety measures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all sanitation standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create new dishes or improve existing ones based on customer feedback
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to continuously enhance the menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Indian Chef or relevant position in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of regional Indian cuisine, including traditional spices, herbs, cooking methods, etc.
- Ability to create unique menu items that cater to different dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
