Indian Executive Chef - Ajman
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Ajman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, creating new and innovative menu items, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menu items and update existing menus to keep up with current food trends
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, portion control, and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Work closely with management to develop cost-effective menus without compromising on quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with a valid work visa for Ajman
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate kitchen staff
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes
- Strong understanding of food costs and inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
Starting salary of 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
