Pastry Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Al Buraymi
As a Pastry Chef at our high-end restaurant in Al Buraymi, you will be responsible for creating and executing the dessert menu, as well as overseeing all aspects of the pastry department. This includes preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts, designing and decorating desserts for presentation, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising junior pastry chefs.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in pastry arts with experience working in a high-end restaurant or hotel. You should be creative, detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills. Good knowledge of food safety regulations is also important.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the dessert menu for the restaurant
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts
- Design and decorate desserts for presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Ensure all pastries meet quality standards
- Adhere to food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Degree or diploma in pastry arts or culinary arts preferred
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to train and supervise junior chefs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
