English Language Tutor



We are seeking an experienced English Language Tutor to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a language tutor, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of all ages and levels. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare lessons according to students' needs and learning goals
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Use a variety of methods and materials to keep lessons interesting and interactive
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other tutors to develop curriculum and share resources
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an English language tutor or teacher
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students of all ages
- Valid work permit for Kuwait (if not a Kuwaiti national)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred qualifications:
- Teaching certification (e.g. TEFL, TESOL)
- Experience teaching online or using technology in the classroom
- Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus
