Head Chef
As Head Chef at our high-end restaurant in Jizan, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning and food preparation to staff management and inventory control. Your passion for cooking and creativity will drive the success of our restaurant, as you lead a team of talented chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menu items that showcase your culinary skills and cater to the preferences of our clientele
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of chefs to maintain a positive work environment and exceed expectations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
- Indian nationality is preferred but not required
Salary: $1300 per month (tax-free) + benefits package including housing allowance, healthcare coverage, annual flight ticket, etc.
