Librarian


We are hiring a Librarian for our library in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing information and reference services to patrons, and promoting library resources and programs. This is an ideal job for Indians who have a passion for books and are looking for part-time or student jobs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and classifying materials
- Assist patrons in finding and accessing information and resources
- Provide reference services and assist with research inquiries
- Promote library resources and programs through displays, events, and outreach activities
- Maintain the library's physical space by organizing shelves, checking in/out materials, and processing new items
- Train and supervise volunteers or other staff members working in the library
- Stay updated on current trends in library science and technology to improve services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library or similar environment is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of library databases and software systems
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
