Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Jeddah. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and implementing menus, training and managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. This position requires a highly skilled and creative individual with a passion for culinary excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus in line with the restaurant's concept
- Plan and execute kitchen operations including ordering, inventory management, and food preparation
- Oversee all aspects of food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Train and manage kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary targets while ensuring high-quality ingredients are used
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create promotions, special events, and catering options
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and menu development
- Ability to lead a team effectively while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with other team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1100$
Location: Jeddah (Preference for Indian nationality)
