Mason - Contract Position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team on a contract basis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, concrete blocks, stone, and other similar materials. You will work on various projects such as buildings, walls, pathways, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or drawings to determine materials needed and layout of structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel
- Lay bricks or other masonry units according to set patterns or plans
- Cut or trim bricks or other materials to fit into spaces or corners using hand tools or saws
- Repair cracks or damage in existing structures using appropriate techniques
- Install fireplaces, chimneys, or other decorative structures according to specifications
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment used in masonry work
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work at heights if needed
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Basic knowledge of math for measuring and calculating dimensions

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; vocational training or apprenticeship in masonry preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason
- Valid visa/work permit for employment in Saudi Arabia
