Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Lusail. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads to meet the demands of our customers. Your main goal will be to deliver high-quality and delicious products that will leave our customers satisfied and coming back for more. This role requires a strong understanding of different baking techniques, knowledge of ingredients, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making, excellent time management skills, and the ability to lead and train junior chefs. Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality desserts, pastries, and breads according to recipes or own original creations.
- Ensure all products are visually appealing and taste delicious.
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of orders.
- Train junior chefs on pastry making techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all food safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
