Pastry Chef
We are a busy and upscale restaurant located in Lusail and we are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts, pastries, breads and other sweet treats for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's concept and standards
- Prepare all pastry dishes according to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and order supplies as needed
- Train, supervise and manage pastry cooks to ensure consistency in quality of desserts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop menu items that incorporate seasonal ingredients
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dessert orders to guests
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Proven knowledge of baking techniques, flavor combinations, plating styles, and food safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor and motivate team members
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.
