Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious hotel in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, creating and designing menus, managing food inventory and cost control, as well as training and supervising staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menus featuring authentic Indian dishes to cater to our diverse clientele
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Monitor and maintain food inventory levels while controlling costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff members, ensuring they adhere to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavors
- Ability to create innovative menus while maintaining authenticity
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff members
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position.
