Contract Accountant - Khasab
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Khasab. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our company. You will also provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial data for the company
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles
- Provide support in tax preparation and filing requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Identify areas for cost-saving opportunities within the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of relevant experience
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and tax regulations in Oman is required
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position is suitable for individuals who are organized, self-motivated, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles. The salary for this role is 1400$ per month.
