Senior Accountant - Abu Dhabi, UAE (Indian Nationals Preferred)


We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a leading company in the region, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can handle the financial operations of our organization with proficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or variances
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and UAE VAT laws
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: 1000 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
