Mason - Construction Worker

We are a construction company based in Al-Rayyan and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures such as walls, floors, and other surfaces using materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural or artificial stones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints or drawings to determine the layout and specifications of the structure
- Measuring and marking surfaces to be covered with materials
- Mixing mortar or concrete according to specific ratios
- Laying bricks or stones in horizontal rows, ensuring they are level and aligned properly
- Using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and trowels to cut or shape materials
- Applying finishing touches by filling gaps with mortar or smoothing out surfaces
- Repairing damaged structures by replacing broken or cracked bricks/stones
- Ensuring safety standards are followed at all times on the construction site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and interpret measurements accurately
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with safety regulations on construction sites
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Preference:
We welcome Indian candidates who have an English speaking proficiency. This is a full-time position but we also consider part-time availability. Previous experience is preferred but not required. A valid biometric passport is necessary for this job.
