Surveyor Assistant

We are hiring a Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Doha. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a part-time job without any prior experience and is fluent in English. As an assistant, you will support our surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data for various projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in setting up and operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels
- Help with measuring and recording distances, angles, elevations, and contours using various tools
- Collect data and enter it into computer systems for analysis
- Perform basic calculations to determine property boundaries and land areas
- Conduct field surveys under the guidance of a licensed surveyor
- Ensure accuracy of collected data by checking measurements and reviewing field notes
- Prepare sketches, maps, and other documents based on collected data
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate surveying tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Able to work part-time hours on weekdays or weekends as needed
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a surveyor assistant or in a related field is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD or GIS is a plus

Salary: $1000 monthly salary based on part-time hours.
