Office Assistant - Contract Position in Muscat
We are searching for a skilled and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Muscat on a contract basis. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage correspondence, including emails and letters
- Maintain office supplies and ensure they are well-stocked
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Keep track of office expenses and handle basic accounting tasks
- Assist with organizing and maintaining office files, documents, and records
- Handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, typing, and filing
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
- Experience handling basic accounting tasks is a plus
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills would be an advantage)
- Must have a valid residency permit or visa sponsorship available
