Gardener - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait


We are a landscaping company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about gardening and has a strong knowledge of plant care and maintenance. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for designing, planting, and maintaining gardens for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning garden layouts based on client preferences and site conditions
- Selecting appropriate plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs for each garden
- Planting and maintaining gardens according to seasonal requirements
- Pruning, trimming, and shaping plants to maintain their health and appearance
- Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed
- Installing irrigation systems and ensuring proper watering schedules
- Identifying and treating plant diseases or pest infestations
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools in good working condition
- Keeping accurate records of plant inventory, maintenance tasks, and expenses

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of plant care techniques including irrigation methods, fertilization, pruning techniques, etc.
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions from clients or supervisors
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in garden design and maintenance

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification in horticulture or related field is a plus
- Previous experience working in landscaping or gardening is required

Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You may also need to work on weekends or evenings depending on client needs.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
