Job Title: Security Analyst
The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security systems, identifying potential threats, and developing strategies to protect the organization's assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, as well as experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing security measures. They must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to address security concerns and implement solutions
- Train employees on proper security practices and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption methods, etc.
- Experience in performing risk assessments and developing risk management plans
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is preferred but not required
Location: Jeddah (open to all nationalities)
Salary: $1600/month
