Product Designer (Ar-Ruwais, Africa)


We are in search of a talented and creative Product Designer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Africa. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet the needs of our clients and users while aligning with our brand's aesthetic and values.

As a member of our design team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create concepts, sketches, and prototypes. You will also conduct market research to gather insights on current trends and competitor products. Additionally, you will work closely with engineers to ensure the feasibility of your designs.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience creating successful products. You should also have excellent communication skills to present your ideas and collaborate effectively with different teams. A keen eye for detail, an understanding of user-centered design principles, and proficiency in design software are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
- Create concepts, sketches, and prototypes for new products
- Conduct market research to gather insights on current trends and competitor products
- Work closely with engineers to ensure the feasibility of your designs
- Present design ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs
- Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing
- Test prototypes and make necessary iterations based on user feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Product Design or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous product designs
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch
- Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English, Arabic proficiency is a plus
