Job Title: Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all instruments are calibrated correctly.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level sensors, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument issues using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments.
- Communicate with other technicians and engineers to coordinate work schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Extensive knowledge of various types of instruments and their functions.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex instrument issues.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to keep accurate records.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with others.

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Muscat (accommodation not provided)
