Crane operator vacancy in Al Buraymi Oman

Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Al Buraymi. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. This is an urgent position with a salary of 1000$ per month without accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
- Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment and report any issues
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
- Lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to instructions
- Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for different loads
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and equipment usage
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a crane operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license from a recognized institution
- Strong knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and understand load charts, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to crane operations
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to work in high-stress situations with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating cranes in the Al Buraymi region would be an asset
- Knowledge of Arabic language would be an asset
- Nationality preference for Omani or GCC citizens
