Location: Khasab, Oman


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Welder, you will be responsible for cutting and joining metal parts using various welding techniques. This is a contract job without accommodation, suitable for men who have their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout and specifications of welding projects
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welders
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, or debris
- Weld metal pieces together using appropriate techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Monitor the welding process to ensure proper heat levels and use of filler material
- Inspect welded joints for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a welder or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
- Familiarity with different welding techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding work
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
