Indian Executive Chef - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As an Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food is prepared and delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that showcase traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for all ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Ensure that all dishes meet quality standards before being served to customers
- Monitor food costs and work towards maximizing profitability without compromising on quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative menus while also maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (12 pass)
- Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized institution preferred
- At least 5 years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Valid own visa for Kuwait preferred
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
