Pastry Chef at a Luxury Resort in Nizwa, Oman
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in the beautiful city of Nizwa, Oman. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads for the resort's dining outlets
- Ensure all pastry items are made with high-quality, fresh ingredients
- Develop new and innovative dessert recipes that cater to different dietary restrictions
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that offer a variety of pastry options
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen area
- Train and supervise pastry cooks to ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different pastry techniques and methods
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
Salary:
Competitive salary of 1400$ per month, based on experience.
