Accountant vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Senior Accountant


We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. This is a full-time position and we are looking for someone who can work independently and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and budgeting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide support for audits and tax preparation.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is based in Al-Khor but open to candidates from all nationalities who have the right to work in Qatar.
