Florist Assistant

We are in need of a creative and detail-oriented Florist Assistant to join our team in the city of Ar-Ruwais. As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the lead florist in creating beautiful arrangements for various events and occasions. Your main duties will include preparing flowers, arranging bouquets, maintaining inventory, and assisting with customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floristry and an eye for design. This is a contract position without accommodation provided, so candidates must have their own visa to work in Ar-Ruwais. No experience is required for this entry-level position, but previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred. This job is open to Egyptian nationals who are fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Assist lead florist with creating floral arrangements for weddings, parties, and other events.
- Prepare flowers by cutting stems, removing thorns and leaves, and arranging them in vases or containers.
- Make bouquets and corsages according to customer requests.
- Maintain inventory by ordering new supplies and keeping track of stock levels.
- Assist with taking customer orders over the phone or in person.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering suggestions.
- Clean work area and equipment after use.

Requirements:
- Passion for floristry and design.
- Attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina as job involves standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred but not required.
- Must have own visa to work in Ar-Ruwais.

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1100$ per month.
