Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Company in Hawalli, Egypt



We are seeking a fashion-savvy and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our retail team in Hawalli, Egypt. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. You will work closely with the buying team to select and source products that align with our brand image and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective merchandising plans for our retail stores in Hawalli
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and source products that meet customer demands
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or clearance of products
- Create attractive displays that showcase our products and drive sales
- Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and provide guidance on product placement
- Monitor competitor activities and make recommendations to stay ahead in the market
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the fashion industry
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, styles, fabrics, and colors
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising software programs (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Hawalli, Egypt (must be willing to relocate)

Nationality: Egyptian preferred but not required

Working Hours: Part-time (flexible schedule)
