Aerospace Engineer - Structural Design
As an Aerospace Engineer - Structural Design, you will be responsible for designing and developing the structural components of aircraft and spacecraft. You will use your expertise in engineering principles, computer-aided design software, and materials science to create efficient and safe designs that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design structural components for aircraft and spacecraft, including wings, fuselages, and control surfaces
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models of components
- Perform stress analysis and simulations to ensure structural integrity and safety of designs
- Conduct research on new materials and technologies to improve design efficiency
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate structural components into overall system design
- Create technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes
- Conduct tests on prototypes to evaluate performance and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering or structural design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA or SolidWorks
- Knowledge of materials science principles and their application in aerospace engineering
- Strong understanding of stress analysis and simulation techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Location: Lusail, Qatar (open to all nationalities)
Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
