A reputable construction company in Nizwa is seeking a skilled Part-Time Carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for someone looking to supplement their income or gain experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware
- Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or structures
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, drills etc.
- Familiarity with power tools such as electric saws, drills etc.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month for this part-time position.
