Barista - Specialty Coffee Shop (Ar-Ruwais, UAE)



A new specialty coffee shop in Ar-Ruwais, UAE is seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and high-quality coffee beverages for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-over coffee, and specialty drinks
- Ensure the quality of all drinks meets our high standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand and communicate the unique characteristics of different types of coffee beans and brewing methods
- Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow all food safety guidelines

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or similar setting
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Must have own visa or be eligible for employment sponsorship in UAE

This is a contract job with the potential for renewal based on performance. Salary is 1700$ per month. Preference will be given to Indian candidates with prior experience working in UAE. Join our team and share your passion for great coffee with our customers!
