Livestock Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are hiring a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the care and well-being of livestock on our farm. This position requires strong knowledge and experience in animal husbandry, nutrition, breeding, and health management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily care and feeding of livestock including cattle, sheep, and goats
- Monitor animal health and identify any signs of illness or disease
- Develop and implement nutrition plans for different types of livestock
- Coordinate breeding programs to ensure healthy offspring and genetic diversity
- Maintain accurate records of herd/flock numbers, births, deaths, and other important data
- Manage herd/flock movements for grazing and transportation purposes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations related to animal welfare, food safety, and biosecurity

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with livestock on a farm or ranch setting
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry practices, nutrition requirements, breeding techniques, and disease prevention methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and supervise farm workers
- Ability to handle physical demands of working with large animals in various weather conditions

Salary: Competitive salary package starting at 1500$ per month based on qualifications and experience.

Note: This position is open to Indian nationals only. English language skills are not required but would be an advantage.
