Chef for Mediterranean Cuisine
A prestigious restaurant in Medina is seeking an experienced Chef with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a high-end restaurant or hotel, creating and executing creative and authentic Mediterranean dishes. Fluency in English is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus featuring authentic Mediterranean dishes
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high quality standards
- Coordinate with management to order supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Monitor food costs and work within budgetary guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity and quality
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (English fluency preferred)
- Food safety certification is a plus
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Medina (accommodation provided)
