Head Chef - Al-Malikiyah, Syria


We are in search of a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation and presentation, and managing kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and delicious menu items using fresh and locally sourced ingredients
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and efficient service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Conduct regular quality checks on all food items to maintain consistency and quality control

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and plating methods
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique menu offerings
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Salary: $1400 per month
