Part-Time Tutor in Nizwa, Oman

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Tutor to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized, one-on-one instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Your main goal will be to help students achieve academic success by identifying their learning needs and creating customized lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students in various subjects, including but not limited to Math, English, Science, and Social Studies
- Assess students' current knowledge and learning needs to develop personalized lesson plans
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on areas of improvement
- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
- Collaborate with other tutors or teachers to share resources and best practices for effective tutoring
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a tutor or teacher in a formal or informal setting
- Proficient in the subject(s) you will be tutoring (i.e. Math, English, Science)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple students' progress simultaneously
- Native English speaker preferred (or equivalent proficiency)
- Must have own visa/work permit for employment
