English Teacher

We are a reputable international school located in Al-Khor, seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the English language. This position is open to Indians who are native English speakers and have previous teaching experience in an international setting. The salary for this role is 1100$ per month and does not include accommodation. Freshers with no prior teaching experience are welcome to apply as we provide training and support for new teachers. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their teaching skills in a diverse and supportive environment.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong organizational skills. You must be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of different learners and create a positive learning environment for students of all levels. Experience with technology in the classroom is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons that are engaging and interactive
- Create a positive learning environment by using a variety of teaching methods
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents
- Manage classroom behavior by implementing effective classroom management strategies
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in school events such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, etc.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification from an accredited institution
- Native English speaker from India
- Previous teaching experience in an international setting preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.
- Passion for teaching and working with students of all ages
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Experience with technology in the classroom is a plus
- Must be able to obtain a work visa in Al-Khor, Qatar
