Seasonal Executive Chef
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Dar Kulaib. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, delicious meals to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create seasonal menus that showcase local and international flavors
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and availability
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards
- Monitor kitchen budget and control costs without compromising on quality
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Good understanding of food safety principles
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
