Welder vacancy in Salalah Oman

Welder (Contract)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Salalah on a contract basis. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of welding techniques. This position requires previous experience in welding, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Select and set up welding equipment according to specifications
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding techniques
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time

Preferred:
- Previous experience in construction or manufacturing setting
- Valid certifications in welding techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
