Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Abu Dhabi)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Indian kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menus featuring authentic Indian dishes
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and ordering
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes consistently
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
Location: Abu Dhabi (UAE)
