Contract Driver - Nizwa


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Driver to join our team in Nizwa. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and/or passengers to their designated locations. This is a contract position, with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Ensure timely delivery of goods or arrival at designated destinations
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery/pick-up times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for the appropriate class of vehicle (light vehicle or heavy truck)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional driver
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in Nizwa
- Ability to follow directions and navigate using maps or GPS devices
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of goods if required
