Merchandiser/Visual Merchandiser

A reputable retail company in Al-Khor is seeking a highly skilled and creative Merchandiser/Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and be able to create visually appealing displays that attract and engage customers. As a Merchandiser/Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing display strategies, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with other departments to ensure effective merchandising. This is a contract position open to all nationalities, with preference given to Indian candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement display strategies that enhance the overall shopping experience for customers
- Create visually appealing displays that showcase products in an attractive manner
- Collaborate with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering new products and restocking shelves as needed
- Regularly analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust display strategies accordingly
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote sales events and promotions through visual displays
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques and standards
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor's displays

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or Visual Merchandiser in a retail setting
- Strong creative skills with an eye for design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends
