Senior Accountant



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ajman. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Review and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary: AED 1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
