Contract Merchandiser (Khasab, Oman)

We are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Merchandiser to join our team in Khasab, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for product placement and visual displays, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. As a Contract Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and brand awareness. Your role will also involve conducting market research and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities. The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is essential for success in this role. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising plans to optimize product placement and visual displays
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences
- Analyze sales data to develop strategies for increasing sales and brand awareness
- Communicate with retail stores to ensure proper product placement, pricing, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials that align with merchandising strategies
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments
- Create detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
