Head Chef


The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of a high-end restaurant in Al-Malikiyah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. The Head Chef will lead and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, taste, and presentation. This role requires an individual who is creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Develop new menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's standards and recipes
- Monitor food quality to ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create special event menus or promotions
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen equipment for functionality and cleanliness
- Adhere to health codes and regulations at all times
- Manage food cost by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Experience with various cuisines such as Mediterranean, Italian or French is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills

Education:
A degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
Visa sponsorship provided.
Flights/travel expenses covered.

Al-Malikiyah, Syria (preferred)
