Tutor for English Language in Salalah, Oman



We are hiring a qualified and experienced Tutor for English Language to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or group instruction to students of various ages and proficiency levels. Your main goal will be to help students improve their English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Conduct assessments to determine students' current language proficiency level
- Teach grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation using a variety of teaching methods
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor progress of students
- Encourage active participation and engagement from students during lessons
- Prepare and assign homework assignments to reinforce learning outside of class
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an English language tutor or teacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and techniques
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Teaching certification or training is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 900$ per month. The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
