Quantity Surveyor - El-Ain, UAE
Our company in El-Ain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within budget and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to cost estimates as needed
- Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze project data and provide regular reports on costs, progress, and potential risks
- Ensure that all work complies with legal requirements and regulations
- Manage project finances, including keeping track of all costs and making necessary adjustments
- Participate in value engineering exercises to find ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
