Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Mecca. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as experience managing a team of pastry chefs. The role will involve overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu development, ordering ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and training and mentoring new pastry chefs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative dessert menus that cater to a diverse clientele
- Train and supervise a team of pastry chefs, ensuring high quality and consistency in all products
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary ingredients to minimize waste and maximize profits
- Ensure all food safety standards are met by maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene practices
- Participate in special events such as weddings or banquets by creating custom desserts
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to constantly improve the quality of our desserts

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred
