Role Overview
As a BCS BUS Account Executive, you will serve as a core member of our client services and travel planning team, overseeing key client relationships, developing group travel proposals, and contributing to our overall sales efforts. This role calls for creativity, adaptability, and strong account management skills to coordinate and sell bespoke travel solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining high-value client portfolios, expanding business opportunities, and staying up to date on industry trendsâfrom new coach configurations to key destinationsâensuring BCS Bus remains at the forefront of group travel services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Account Management
Manage a Portfolio of Key Clients: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate, private, and high-value accounts, tailoring group travel solutions to their unique needs.
Proactive Engagement: Anticipate client requirements by tracking upcoming events, corporate travel cycles, and preferences to propose new offerings.
Client Retention & Satisfaction: Deliver consistently high-touch service; oversee follow-ups, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of client experience.
Sales & Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services within your existing client base.
Strategic Campaigns: Develop targeted marketing strategies and materials aimed at inspiring clients to organize additional trips, tours, or charter services.
2. Travel Planning & Design
Tailored Group Itineraries: Plan and deliver personalized bus charter solutions for events, tours, or VIP travel. This includes route planning, time optimization, and added experiences based on client objectives.
Pricing & Proposal Creation: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure profitable yet competitive pricing structures. Present compelling, well-researched proposals that highlight unique value.
Destination & Industry Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of transportation regulations, trending destinations, new motorcoach features, and potential partner offers for a robust client experience.
Vendor & Partner Collaboration: Liaise with partner vendors (hotels, local guides, event coordinators) when needed to enhance the overall itinerary and secure preferential rates or upgrades.
3. New Client Development & Sales
Prospecting & Outreach: Identify and connect with potential new clients (corporate travel planners, event organizers, tourism agencies) and present BCS Bus as the go-to solution for group travel.
Networking: Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and local business events to generate leads and build new partnerships.
Relationship Building: Engage with relevant industry contactsâsuch as destination management companies (DMCs), tourism boards, and corporate travel buyersâto expand BCS Busâs reach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns aligned with brand strategy, ensuring a consistent message across channels.
4. Financial & Partnership Management
Budget & Forecasting: Collaborate on financial projections for your accounts, aiming to balance competitive pricing with company profitability.
Vendor Relationships: Strengthen ties with key service providersâmotorcoach operators, accommodation partners, local tour guidesâto expand offerings and secure favorable pricing.
Pricing & Margins: Monitor margins within each travel proposal, ensuring revenue targets are met without compromising on service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3-5+ years in travel planning, account management, or sales; experience in group travel, luxury bus charters, or transportation a strong plus.
Education: Bachelorâs degree preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with group travel, charter logistics, and relevant booking platforms or CRMs. Knowledge of GDS and travel tech tools is a bonus.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients and team members.
Adaptability & Resourcefulness: Adept at handling a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
Professionalism: A polished presence, capable of instilling confidence in both high-level corporate and private clients.

Pay: From $78,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
