Licensed Practical Nurse

City: Al-Khor, Qatar



Our healthcare facility in Al-Khor is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with daily activities, and monitoring patient progress. This is a full-time position that requires previous experience and offers a competitive salary of 1700$. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Maintain professional standards of practice in accordance with state regulations

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Qatar
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must have current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Arabic) proficiency is highly desirable
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
