Waiter/Waitress



We are seeking a friendly and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Sharjah. Our restaurant caters to a diverse clientele, including a large Indian population, so we are specifically looking for someone who is familiar with Indian cuisine and culture. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have at least 1 year of experience working as a waiter/waitress.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Present menus and make recommendations to customers
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers according to company standards
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and work stations
- Process customer payments using the POS system
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter/waitress in a similar establishment
- Familiarity with Indian cuisine and culture preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have basic math skills for processing payments
- Must have excellent customer service skills


Salary:
Starting salary of $1400 per month.

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Note: This job is open to all nationalities; however, preference will be given to Indian candidates. Fluency in English is not required but would be an added advantage. Freshers are welcome to apply if they meet all other requirements.
