Livestock Specialist


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the health, welfare, and production of livestock, specifically for Indian nationals. This includes providing hands-on care, monitoring animal health, implementing breeding programs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for livestock including feeding, watering, and cleaning of animal housing
- Monitor and maintain animal health through regular check-ups and treatments
- Implement breeding programs to ensure maximum production and genetic diversity
- Oversee the transportation of livestock to and from the farm or market
- Maintain accurate records of all activities related to livestock management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for animal welfare
- Train and supervise other employees in proper handling and care of livestock
- Collaborate with veterinarians and nutritionists to optimize the health and productivity of the herd

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with livestock, preferably in a leadership role
- Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques, nutrition, breeding programs, and disease prevention methods
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi is preferred)
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Salary & Benefits:
